'Rosemary Catanese is a major artist in our midst: she possesses technique, authority, and understanding' and 'Miss Catanese performed this demanding music brilliantly, exhibiting intellectual control as well as technical virtuosity.' Edwards, Detroit Monitor

Miss Catanese has studied with Eugene Bossart, Benning Dexter, William Doppmann, Claude Frank, and Helene Nordstrom. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan and a diploma from Harvard University's Institute in Arts Administration.
